Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Success, the Director for Corporate and Employer Outreach will develop and execute an external relationship plan, which will lead to enrollments in Loyola University’s adult undergraduate, graduate programs and continuing education programs. The Director leads a sales-focused team who develop and engage university partners. The office will develop deep relationships with these organizations to identify their needs for credit and non-credit programming. Working closely with university partners, the Director will ensure effective delivery of academic programs with these external organizations.

Key Responsibilities
•Develop, lead and execute Loyola’s corporate and employer relationship plan for the purpose of developing new enrollments for the university.
•Identify the educational needs of the external organizations and work closely with Loyola’s internal partners to ensure the development of credit and non-credit academic offerings to meet the needs of these organizations.
•Monitor the changing landscape to ensure that our educational offerings continue to meet the needs of our external partners.
•Develop success metrics for the team (e.g. number of external contacts per month with organizational partners, number of contract programs with external organizations, number of students enrolled in the university’s academic program, etc.) and monitor these metrics to ensure the office is meeting the university’s enrollment and revenue targets.
•Design and host appropriate events which will lead to deeper relationships between external organizations and the key units within the university.
•Facilitate the relationship building between key university partners (deans, department heads, faculty) and key leaders in the external organizations.
•Working closely with our internal partners, develop proposals for academic credit and non-credit programs based upon the expressed needs of the external organizations.
•Develop and propose tuition pricing strategies, including volume discounts, which will lead to increased net tuition revenue for the university.
•Raise market awareness for Loyola’s corporate partnerships, customized programming and the full array of academic offerings which will lead to contract programs with external organizations.
•Serve on a university coordinating committee to ensure that all campus partners are apprised of the external relationships and that requests for programming are delivered by the appropriate campus partner.
•Supervise the Business Development Managers.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Master’s Degree is required.
Minimum of ten years of professional experience in business development, business-to-business sales, marketing or corporate relations.
Experience in new market development, relationship management, strategic planning, project management and team leadership.

Ability to effectively articulate the values of a Jesuit education.

A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

Prior professional experience in higher education or a corporate training & development environment.
