Position Description:
Under the direction of the Director of the Excellence in Pedagogy and Innovative Classrooms (EPIC) Program, the EPIC Administrative Assistant position will provide programmatic support for the day-to-day activities of the EPIC Program, an initiative within the Division of Humanities. EPIC seeks to create an infrastructure that drives continual pedagogical improvement among faculty and engage undergraduates in innovative and inclusive learning environments that demonstrate the value of a humanities education. EPIC is funded by a five-year $5 million grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The main functions for the incumbent include assistance in program and event management, scheduling and meeting coordination, records and website, and recruitment and outreach. In order to independently manage multiple programs at different stages in the planning process, the ability to independently prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized is crucial.
