Coordinates with appropriate application support teams to ensure these systems are operational when needed. This includes troubleshooting, researching errors, and requesting the appropriate corrective actions as necessary.

Assists users and departments by developing reports and other solutions that help support document management system customers. Configures and trains new departments on Enterprise Imaging and Document Management systems. Shares in responsibility for responding to escalated Help Desk tickets. Provides advice and consultation to ITS staff and the FSU community regarding Enterprise Imaging and Document Management applications.

Serves as the point person for scoping/evaluation processes for the new Enterprise Imaging and Document Management systems. Responsible for operation and availability of these services. As technologies change with upgrades and services, responsible for assisting with the development of policies and procedures for the system administration functions within assigned support areas.

Helps in gathering requirements for hardware and software purchases for implementation of document management systems, fax services, and scanning solutions.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and four years experience or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

Ability to convey technical information to technical and non- technical users.

Ability to document existing and new processes.

Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives.

Ability to interface business applications with other systems.

Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology.

Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field.

Experience working with Document Management Systems.

Intermediate to advance proficiency writing SQL queriesPreferred Knowledge of digital faxing system processes.
