Program Coordinator, Executive Education - Georgetown University Law Center

The Program Coordinator, Executive Education will work closely with the Senior Director, Executive Education and collaborate with all members of the Office of Executive & Legal Education to coordinate Georgetown Law's Executive Education programs - running a suite of high-profile, substantive and financially successful Executive trainings. This position plays a critical role in all internal, external, marketing/communications and budgetary aspects of planning and executing Georgetown Law's Executive Education programs. The ideal candidate is highly professional, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and capable of managing his/her work load and prioritizing tasks. S/ he will be part of a dynamic team, building and developing innovative Law Center initiatives from the ground up.

The Program Coordinator will have duties that include but are not limited to:
  • Manages all internal aspects of program implementation, serving as the key point person for all catering, A/V, and Facilities requests for Georgetown Law' s Executive Education department, both internally at Georgetown Law and with hotels and other offsite venues.
  • Manages event registration for open enrollment programs and assembles information for, and coordinate s staffing of, all Executive Education events.
  • On program conclusion, creates and disseminates program evaluations, as well as assembles evaluation responses.
  • Participates in all aspects of post-program analysis, re : all Executive Education programs.
  • Manages all external aspects of program implementation and logistics, in support of Georgetown Law's Executive Education programs.
  • Helps launch and manage the department's online Executive Education initiatives, as well as Executive Certificate programs.

The position has a high level of interaction with Executive program faculty, University and Law Center colleagues, alumni, VIPs and sophisticated program participants. Evening, weekend work and travel may occasionally be required.
  • Strategizes with senior Executive Education leadership and the Department's Marketing Manager to assist with all Executive Education marketing and communication s initiatives, including website updates/ maintenance, publications, marketing emails, and social media outreach.
  • Manages Executive Education's dedicated/primary email account , its contact database and for maintainingitswebsite.
  • WorkswiththeDepartment'sBusinessManagerandBusinessOperationsCoordinator toprocessExecutiveEducation'sfinancialandbudgetarytransactions.

The Program Coordinator will interact and correspond regularly with a high volume of sophisticated Executive Education program participants from around the globe.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior administrative experience (a minimum of two years in a professional setting is strongly preferred)
  • This position is a critical, frontline position for which a strong customer service mindset is key
  • Experience with project management, marketing, communications, event/meeting and travel planning
  • Ability and flexibility to work mornings and evenings as needed for programs or events; openness to occasional travel
  • Effective team player with strong problem-solving skills & a willingness to learn new skills and technologies, especially re: event management platform s, project management and team communication software and event app platforms
  • Comfortable interacting with internal colleagues and external constituents, members of the legal profession, global program participants and VIPs
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, writ ten and verbal)
  • Demonstrated integrity, understanding of confidentiality, problem-solving and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and event management systems
  • Attention to detail, well organized, prioritization and multitasking skills; and Strong global acumen
