Laboratory Manager


Under general direction of the lead principal investigator for the Center of Medical Bioinformatics in the department of Biological Chemistry in the School of Medicine, incumbent provides high level analytical and administrative support for strategic initiatives for the operations and implementations for the laboratory of the lead principal investigator. Serves as project manager of strategic planning and analysis for the laboratory and oversees various operational projects from initiation to completion. Incumbent coordinates review and processing of materials requiring close interaction with management of the schools of Medicine, Information and Computer Sciences (ICS), Biological Sciences, Population Health, the Chao Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Institute of Genomics and Bioinformatics (IGB), the Genomics High-Throughput Facility (GHTF), the Center for Epigenetics and Metabolism (CEM), the Sue and Bill Gross Stem Cell Center, and the Center for Cancer Research. Facilitates collaborations across the organization by working well with all levels of management. Develops and leverages relationships within the workplace and builds and sustains excellent relationships at multiple levels in the organization.

Salary: Monthly $5,463.67 - $7,452.67
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
