The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UCLA is seeking an outstanding faculty member to serve as our director of digital/telepathology. AP or AP/CP board certification is essential. The appointment would be at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, commensurate with experience. Prior experience with digital/telepathology including an established record of leading Divisional or Departmental projects or innovations in these areas is strongly preferred. The candidate is also expected to participate in clinical service coverage in general surgical pathology or within a specialty area of anatomic or clinical pathology. A successful record of resident teaching, productive research collaborations or independent research activities is a plus.

The candidate will be responsible for leading our department's efforts in telepathology/digital pathology, as well as service coverage of other area(s) in pathology, which would be determined based on the candidate's interest and experience. The candidate will share responsibility for training residents and fellows. Creative contributions in clinical, educational or research projects is expected. UCLA offers a highly collaborative research environment that promotes interactions among faculty in the School of Medicine. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
