Duties include lab and animal colony management as well as planning, performing, and interpreting experiments, analyzing and presenting data and preparing them for seminars and manuscripts. These duties are often performed as a teamwork and ability to successfully collaborate with other members of the lab is essential.
BA/BS and 1 - 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. In terms of skills, this position requires a solid and proven experience with the methods of molecular biology (molecular cloning and generation and expression of specific constructs, site directed mutagenesis, gene expression profiling, analysis of protein expression and interactions, etc). The hands-on mastery of mammalian tissue culture, flow cytometry as well as in animal handling and genotyping is essential. Additional experience in genome editing and methods of tumor biology and immunology is a plus.
