The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neurology with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in neurology and have completed a fellowship in multiple sclerosis.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include substantial experience in the field of neurology and leadership role in outpatient clinic with limited responsibility in the inpatient service.

Applicants in mid-career/higher level with established records of clinical service and leadership responsibilities are encouraged to apply. Experience with team management (such as Service Line/other disease teams), as physician liaison and with clinical trials, would be a plus. Responsibilities include taking on a leadership role in the large outpatient program in MS and Related Disorders, as well as providing clinical services.
