The Office of Advancement is seeking students interested in participating in GGC’s Phonathon program. The student callers will reach out to alumni and friends to encourage financial support of GGC’s programs and mission and gather biographical information.

We are looking for students who are eager and confident in contacting alumni and friends about giving back, while utilizing a common bond and fondness for GGC and its endeavors. The phonathon program will play a critical role in the campus’s fundraising efforts. We’d like students who love GGC and can communicate that to our alumni!

Work Hours

One day a week, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Full training will be provided, and no experience is necessary.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:


  • Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
  • Speak clear, fluent and energetic English.


  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Confidence in communicating clearly over the phone, and in asking for financial support.
  • Accuracy and attention to details.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.

This position raises funds for both Georgia Gwinnett College and secondarily for the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation. Position may require local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
