The Director helps to lead a pro-active, entrepreneurial team that creates opportunities and aggressively pursues gifts of $100,000+ from foundations, corporations, and other private grant-making organizations. The Director works with faculty and senior administrators across campus to match their highest academic priorities with the most appropriate prospective donors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of approximately 75 prospects and donors to meet quarterly, annual, campaign and other goals.
• Collaborating with faculty and administrators to understand institutional priorities and create and execute annual strategic plans for funding them.
• Expanding CFR’s external networks of alumni and other allies who can help to promote, validate and steward William & Mary’s relationships with major institutional donors.
• Assisting the Senior Director with managing the CFR office and mentoring the Associate Director and Administrative Coordinator
