Normal Work Schedule: Part-time shifts are every Saturday and Sunday. Available variations: Saturday/Sunday 7:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday/Sunday 9:00am to 9:00pm, Saturday/Sunday 1:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday 7:00pm to 7:00am and Sunday 7:00pm to 8:30am (overnight)

Job Summary: The Mental Health Worker I has primary responsibility for Brewer Porch Children's Center client safety, client supervision. This position is also expected to understand and implement the client treatment plan for each client under his/her care.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and some therapeutic, rehabilitative or behavior management experience; or nine hours of college coursework in major courses of special education, psychology, social work, counseling, education, behavioral or social science, or communicative disorders can substitute for work experience. Must successfully complete health screening after offer of employment has been made. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to perform crisis intervention techniques.

Final candidates who are not current Brewer-Porch Children's Center employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
