Full time, tenure track position to begin August 2020.

The selected candidate should have a field in macroeconomics and will be responsible for teaching, among other things, principles of macroeconomics, money and banking, and intermediate macroeconomic theory. The candidate will also be encouraged to teach and develop elective courses in their areas of interest. The typical course load would be three courses per semester and may include web or interactive TV instruction.

Minimum Education Requirements

Ph.D. in Economics. If ABD, candidate must have a documented plan for completing the Ph.D. prior to August of 2020.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching and research excellence. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide service to the University and outside stakeholders.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications

The ability to teach in our Master’s of Economic Development program is preferred.
