Essential Job Duties:

DASA (Division of Academic and Student Affairs) Facilities is seeking Maintenance Assistants to work with maintenance staff in the residence halls and apartments. The Maintenance Assistants will primarily work to prepare all rooms to be occupied in the fall.

This includes basic work in:
Plumbing – unclogging sink drains, repairing dripping faucets

Electrical – replacing light bulbs, replacing devices

HVAC – replacing filters, cleaning HVAC units

Painting – touch up

Carpentry – furniture repair, replacing ceiling or carpet tiles

Other duties could include: moving furniture, assisting with some project work in all the trades listed above, and other similar work.

This is a temporary position starting mid May through mid August.
