Math adjunct faculty may teach developmental and credit courses ranging from Arithmetic through Calculus and above. Adjunct faculty may teach and/or tutor up to 13 load hours each fall and spring semester and up to 10 load hours each summer. Adjunct faculty may serve on select college committees and engage in professional development activities. The college values those having experience working with diverse student populations. A willingness to teach at any AACC location, various course formats and/or a non-traditional schedule (weekends/nights) is required. Availability to teach daytime classes is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in mathematics preferred (bachelor's degree in mathematics required).

Two years’ teaching experience in mathematics strongly preferred.
