Job Description:


This position helps maintain administrative systems relating to student and course data and supports decision-making relating to student satisfaction of degree requirements. The Assistant/Associate Registrar works regularly with faculty and administrative offices across campus, and therefore should be familiar with the functioning of higher education administration. Occasional management of front office staff will be required.


York College use multiple data systems to manage curricular requirements, for degree planning, and degree audit (Acalog, Starfish Degree Planner, and Banner's CAPP), and we need an Assistant/Associate Registrar who will maintain these systems, helping maintain and improve alignment between them as the curriculum experiences annual modifications. We also are preparing to roll out Infosilem for course scheduling, and since this will be based in the Registrar's office, it would be very helpful if the Assistant/Associate Registrar is already familiar with Infosilem.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required for Assistant Registrar,

  • Master's degree required for Associate Registrar

  • A minimum of three to five years' experience in higher education administration

  • Computer knowledge and understanding required

  • Experience with Infosilem and Banner preferred, experience with Starfish helpful
