Position: Manager of Annual Giving Programs Location: Wheaton, IL
Job Id: 425 # of Openings: 1 MANAGER OF ANNUAL GIVING PROGRAMS ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Manager of Annual Giving Programs manages essential programs integral to achieving the Wheaton Fund goal in the areas of reunion giving, loyalty giving, young alumni giving, and student philanthropy. Duties

  1. Reunion Giving
a. Execute a fundraising strategy for special solicitations to reunion classes each year, coordinating efforts with the Associate Director of Reunions.b. Recruit and support reunion giving chairpersons, guiding solicitation efforts and communicating with them about the fundraising process and progress toward fundraising goals.c. Attend reunion events over Homecoming and Alumni weekends and secure reunion gifts.d. Develop and implement strategy for peer-to-peer fundraising, as a component of Giving Day/2.Loyalty Givinga. Oversee Loyal Wheaties, a loyalty giving program, executing a comprehensive communication and solicitation strategy to cultivate, recognize, and steward faithful Wheaton Fund donors.3.Young Alumni Givinga. Oversee ongoing strategies to cultivate young alumni donors to the Wheaton Fund, developing and implementing a strategy for segmenting graduates of the last decade in two engagement groups.b. Plan and execute an annual solicitation campaign for graduates of the last decade, engaging them across direct mail, phone, email, and social media channels.c. Collaborate with Alumni and Parent Engagement to provide non-solicitation touch points to graduates of the last decade.4.Student Philanthropya. Develop a comprehensive strategy to educate current students about the College’s fundraising efforts, solicit them for Wheaton Fund gifts, and engage them in the fundraising process; involve key student groups such as Student Ambassadors, the Student Alumni Board, and Student Government in this strategy.b. Lead the Student Ambassadors to plan and execute student philanthropy events such as Giving Tuesday, Tuition Freedom Day, and a comprehensive student engagement strategy for Giving Day.c. Supervise the Senior Class Campaign Committee, guiding and supporting them in the process of promoting and raising funds for their class gift.5.Other Dutiesa. Research and implement best practices in reunion, loyalty, young alumni, and student giving programs.b. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredFundraising experience and alumni status strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to manage volunteersDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProfessional presence with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsCollaborative team playerProficient in Microsoft Office
