    The Department of Music invites applications for a tenure-track position to begin in Fall 2020 as director of the college's choral ensembles currently Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. We are seeking a dynamic individual who can build on the excellence of an established collegiate choral program. Other teaching responsibilities will also include courses in the vocal area (Vocal Diction and Pedagogy), as well as courses within secondary area(s) of specialization, such as Music Education, Jazz and Jazz History, Ethnomusicology, Composition, or Music Technology/Electronic Music. The successful candidate will also be expected to take an active role in the recruitment of prospective student musicians. DMA or Ph.D. required, public school teaching experience is preferred.
