The Department of Biology at Bucknell University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track adjunct faculty position in human anatomy and physiology and medical microbiology to begin in August 2020. The initial appointment is for the 2020-2021 academic year with the possibility of reappointment in subsequent years contingent on satisfactory performance. We seek an outstanding and enthusiastic educator with the desire to engage with undergraduates in the classroom. A Master’s or Ph.D. in biology, allied health, or related discipline is required. The successful candidate will be expected to teach human anatomy and physiology, medical microbiology, and human physiology, all with labs, to a diverse student population. These courses serve students pursuing careers in health-related professions and students from Bucknell’s biomedical engineering major. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusive pedagogy and to institutional and departmental service are also required.
