Job Description:

Position Summary: The faculty member will be responsible for providing college-level instruction in the community college, for the Business Communication class

Expected start/end date: 9/3/2019-10/25/2019

Availability: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 3:00PM to 4:15PM

Supervision Received: Reports to the Dean of STEM or the President's designee

Job Description:

Teaching Duties:

Teach BUS 110, Business Communication.
Prepare syllabi and following course objectives for each course taught.
Assess student learning at the course, program and institutional level.
Meet deadlines for student progress reports, recommendations and grades.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Taxation or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds who possess wide ranges of academic abilities and interests.
  • Teaching Experience at a Community College.

Additional Information:

Compensation: The salary will be determined based on the guidelines and procedures of the Massachusetts Community College System and collective bargaining agreement.
