Reporting to the Senior Systems & Data Analyst the Operations and Data Analyst partners with the office's Business Systems Analyst to support and maintain reporting and operational deliverables such as monthly enrollment reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse, registration preparation, and graduation processing.
Analyzes and interprets data to produce regular and ad hoc reports for the Registrar and other partners across the university. In this capacity, the role often serves as the office's liaison for institutional research needs. Such reporting includes analysis of trend data to provide timely business and metrics for management decision support.

Operations + Data Standards: Provides technical and reporting leadership for the Office of the University Registrar s systems. Ensure the integrity of student records, efficient and effective daily operations within systems, and meets most reporting needs of the office.
Serves as office expert to work with staff to understand business requirements.
Analyzes and interprets data to produce regular and ad hoc reports to internal University partners: Analyst is an expert user in the University s Data Warehouse and other systems. Supports the academic mission of the schools and departments across the university through appropriate and timely access to reports.
Analyzes technical processes and data extracts for external vendors. Reviews and resolves errors in enrollment and graduation files to National Student Clearinghouse. This involves partnerships with SRFS staff and others in the school and colleges.
Maintains clear and accessible documentation for system access requests. Maintains record of and processes appropriate access requests, provisioning security in a standardized and well-documented way. Develops and modernizes workflow to improve all security provisioning for student records.
Member of relevant SRFS and university committees and teams pertaining to data and institutional research: Next Generation Student System teams such as the Integrations Team and/or the Data Standards Team. Participates regularly in User s Groups and online forums to support products in use by Student Registration and Financial Services
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of data analyst experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required knowledge includes process and data modeling, data architectural development methodology and working knowledge of databases. Experience using data analysis tool and databases. Demonstrated competence in systems analysis and design and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
