Information Specialist, Office of the University Registrar - Georgetown University Main Campus

The Information Specialist will work within the framework of the Office of the University Registrar to information services front desk support for Georgetown University's graduate and undergraduate students, parents, staff and faculty.
Specifically, this position will work collaboratively with the stakeholders in person and via email and telephone in support of student data information, registration, transcripts and certifications. Additionally, this position will assist in the effort to manage and maintain the University Registrar for Academic and Student Records. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assists with transcript production and certifications.
  • Helps students, faculty, and staff troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Notifies students and alumni when documents are read for pick up.
  • Maintains inventory of forms at the front desk.
  • Ensures that the reception area is neat and orderly at all times.
  • Reports technical and maintenance problems to the appropriate campus offices.

This is a Part-time, 20 hours per week positions.

  • High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years customer service experience preferably in Higher Education
