Job Description

Under general supervision, this position assists in the coordination of the Academic Learning Center and programs such as subject-area tutoring, supplemental instrucion, and campus programming.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Tutoring Services Coordinator by creating, establishing and maintaining
tracking and reporting systems to monitor tutoring and supplemental instruction (SI)
sessions.
Assists in coordinating logistics for tutoring, supplemental instruction and on-campus
programming
Provides data and progress/status reporting as necessary for tutoring and SI sessions to the Director of the Student Academic Success Center
Assists the Tutoring Services Coordinator in creating reports to reflect student session numbers; assists in the creation and maintenance of internal controls to protect student confidentiality and program reports.
Guides, directs, answers questions, and resolves problems of students seeking assistance from the Tutoring Center
May be required to train tutors and SI leaders
Maintains and updates tutoring schedules in Navigate
Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in applicable field
Three years of related experience in tutoring or program administration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of work processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
