This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that is committed to providing optimal and inclusive mental health services to Mount Holyoke College.

Schedule: 25 hours per week; academic year: August 15-May 31

Daily administrative responsibilities include:

  • Reception of clients, in-person and telephone interaction with students, parents, faculty, staff and off-campus providers.
  • Scheduling student appointments and maintaining master schedule for 10 clinicians.
  • Handling and facilitating requests for emergency services and support.
  • Maintaining confidential client records and communications.
  • Processing and documentation of medical leaves, extensions, withdrawals, insurance referrals, record releases and requests and assisting with any other record-keeping needs for the department.
  • Assisting clinicians and Director of Counseling Service with events and special projects as needed.
  • Working in collaboration with Health Service and local pharmacies to help students with their medication/prescription needs.
  • Assisting with tasks as requested by departmental Senior Administrative Assistant.
