Job Responsibilities

TTC, located in Charleston, SC, is a public, two-year multi-campus institution that provides quality education and promotes economic development in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.

The Department of Mathematics has immediate on-line teaching opportunities for curriculum courses -120,155,110, and 111. These positions will begin Fall II (7 -week term) beginning October 20th. If you have a passion for sharing your knowledge with others, consider joining TC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching day and/or evening classes, utilizing technology, including dual-credit high school, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. Qualified candidates may be assigned to teach mathematics courses ranging from Beginning Algebra through Calculus III and Differential Equations, including Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Contemporary Mathematics.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a master's degree in mathematics OR a master's degree with 18 semester credit hours in mathematics at the graduate level. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience on the college level is preferred.
