The College of Pharmacy is consistently ranked as one of the top five colleges of pharmacy in the country and the Health Outcomes division has 5 tenured and tenure-track research faculty, 2 research scientists, and approximately 30 Master's and PhD graduate students and health outcomes fellows (http://sites.utexas.edu/healthoutcomes/). The division houses the Texas Center for Health Outcomes Research and Education (TxCORE), (http://sites.utexas.edu/txcore/), where a diverse group of researchers partner with stakeholders in pharmaceutical industry, managed care, clinical research organizations, pharmacy organizations and associations and health care institutions to address medication and health-related issues.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have an earned PharmD (or other health care-related degree) and a PhD with a strong research focus in health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, or a related health care field. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of research in secondary database analysis. The College of Pharmacy seeks candidates who are committed to, and will contribute to, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Please see the University’s resources at https://www.utexas.edu/about/diversity. The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive start-up package. Applications received before November 11, 2019 will receive first consideration, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Application Instructions:

This Institution is using Interfolio’s ByCommittee to conduct this search.
