Responsibilities:

The Neuroscience Program at DePaul University is pleased to invite applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin autumn 2020.

Applicants must hold a PhD and be broadly trained in neuroscience with a strong commitment to undergraduate education in a diverse environment. The successful applicant will establish an active research program that includes undergraduate and masters students. Preference will be given to candidates with specializations in electrophysiology, computational neuroscience, and/or invertebrate model systems, though outstanding candidates of any neuroscience discipline will be considered. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching introductory and upper-level courses in the Neuroscience Program and Department of Biological Sciences and will participate in service opportunities in addition to contributing to a growing Neuroscience Program. Dedicated research space and startup funds are available.
