Position Summary

NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Programs and Judiciary Affairs in the Undergraduate College. The selected candidate will work on a dynamic team to develop and manage the Undergraduate College’s joint BS/MS in Accounting Program, the BS/BFA program, and other dual degree programs and special initiatives, such as the Stern Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR). S/he will market these programs and promote student involvement. The Assistant Director will also manage course set-up, enrollments and other related issues, working with the NYU Registrar and Stern Registration teams. The candidate will generate reports and analyses to inform advising and registration procedures, utilizing NYU / Stern reporting systems including UDW+, Albert, and NYU Connect. Additionally, the Assistant Director will research and resolve alleged violations of the student code of conduct and select and manage the student judiciary committee.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination. S/he must have experience developing and implementing programs and activities as well as developing marketing strategies. Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills are required. The selected candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication, and s/he will have familiarity with reporting and analysis of data, utilizing Microsoft Office and other database applications. Candidates with a Master’s degree are preferred.
