Other responsibilities will be to monitor student awards, packaging, processing, and reporting. The Operations Assistant will represent the University at both on and off campus events, requiring periodic evening and weekend hours. Candidates must be organized and able to handle all aspects of administration and adhere to rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.Qualifications:A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Experience in financial aid, an ability to work independently, accurately, and to collaborate as appropriate. Strong communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal and administrative skills. Must possess a working knowledge of PC-based word processing and spreadsheets. Strong customer service skills are a must. Familiarity with computerized financial aid systems, especially SCT Banner. Valid driver’s license required.Application Instructions:Sandra A. Mervius
