DescriptionThe TechnicalSystem Coordinator is responsible for the University Store Website ande-commerce including; processing orders, maintaining Towson UStore site as wellas towsonustore.com, online order processing, account maintenance & riskmanagement for on-line service and POS. This position will review, update and develop continued web presence andusability; maintain Tiger Rewards program, review monthly redemptions andanalyze and report use; resolve and manage Tiger Rewards profile.  Responsible for web design and implementinglayout as well as promo codes.  Worksdirectly with Marketing Manager under the direction of University StoreDirector on digital images and product presentation; new product review anddiscontinuation change; identifying and implementing plans to draw more trafficto the Web site; making storefront graphic suggestions to maximize and improvethe customer experience.

 In addition,the Technical System Coordinator maintains the Point of Sale System; performingsystem updates, monitoring internal servers and services, maintaining hardware,posting daily sales data and resolving sales data errors, and performing systembackups; supports the Mobile POS and services department computers, laptops,tablets, printers, etc. Maintain and support multiple software packages whichinclude: MBS, Endicia (USPS), WTS, etc.; setup off-site technical needs;identify, evaluate, and recommend new software/hardware products and services;test and debug new web-based services; completes data feeds and transfers;serves as a liaison between store systems and campus and vendor supportentities for maintenance of hardware/software; assists and coordinates trainingfor users on various computer applications as needed; orders systems operationssupplies; oversees risk assessment with OTS; experience with ProfileManagement; demonstrates excellent customer service; other duties may beassigned as needed.



QualificationsBachelor’sdegree and three years of related experience. Experience with a variety ofweb-based tools including Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),social media, multimedia, and retail web navigation. Excellent customer serviceskills. Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and takes initiative. Advanceddegree preferred.

 A CriminalBackground Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the resultsmay impact employment.
