The Office of Student Life enhances the educationalexperience by providing opportunities for students to connect, engage and developleadership skills through quality programs and services. Student Life providesprograms and services centered on leadership development, civic engagement,student organizations and the co-curricular transcript. The department supports many campus wideinitiatives including New Student Orientation (NSO), Veteran’s Day Programmingand Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention Task Force, among others.

Duties could include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Prepare departmental mailings

-Prepare and distribute Student Life promotional materials

-Create and maintain campus bulletin boards and easels weekly

-Assist with various Student Life events as needed such as answering phone calls, incoming traffic, staffing table/events

-Answer telephones, pick up mail and distribute, answer incoming traffic questions about office, student organizations, events, etc.

-Provide Department tours for current and future students

-Responsible for maintaining all the information details, related to copying, filing, sorting and compiling the various information details

-Perform Other duties and trainings as assigned or necessary

-Responsible for checking and verifying the work and maintaining the accuracy of the jobs related to data entry.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be eligible for Federal Work Study program.

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.

Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements. Must be at least 18 years old.

Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to work at least 10-15 hours per week

Microsoft Office knowledge

Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. preferred
