Applications are invited for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level in Inorganic chemistry. Applicants with research in the areas of bioinorganic, energy, catalysis, materials, synthesis or surface chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. We are seeking candidates with outstanding research credentials who will complement existing research strengths and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence. Competitive startup funds will be provided.

Tulane is a private university with approximately 7000 undergraduate and an equal number of graduate and professional students. The university has 11 schools including Science and Engineering, Medicine, Public Health, Law and Business. The Chemistry Department is a part of the School of Science and Engineering and has strong research ties within the school and with the School of Medicine.


Minimum of Ph.D. in Chemistry or related discipline. We are seeking candidates with outstanding research credentials and a commitment to teaching.
