Associate Vice President of Marketing & Public Information
Nashville State Community College

This position is responsible for leading the marketing, public information and media relations for the College and provide overall strategic leadership and direction to the VP of Economic and Community Development, college and foundation leadership and external advertising/marketing/web/digital media agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with in Communications, public relations, graphic design, or marketing with four to seven years’ work related experience desired.
• Advanced knowledge of marketing strategy, excellent written and verbal communication, design and production expertise, and successful oversight of marketing and media activities.
• Success managing marketing strategies for college, institution, corporation or projects.
• Experience directing media relations, crisis communications, and/or serving as a Public information officer for a project, agency, company, and/or institution.
• Knowledge in graphic design, digital, video, and web production platforms and software to produce effective marketing and branding campaigns.
• Experience evaluating marketing campaigns for results and communicating them to leadership.
