This position is located on the WCJC Wharton Campus.
The duties of the Accounting Clerk includes all applicable requirements necessary to process accounts payable for all campuses including obtaining proper supporting documentation on vendors, setting up and maintaining vendors in the MIS System, processing invoices, distributing purchase orders, entering journal vouchers, and completing special assignments assigned by the Controller.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of full time business or accounting office experience. This position requires the ability to operate a personal computer and Microsoft Office software packages. A criminal background check is required.
