JOB PURPOSE:
Provide administrative or operational support working under general supervision by the UIT Admin Team Supervisor.
CORE DUTIES*:
Respond to client inquiries by utilizing ServiceNow, SLACK, email, and any other channel of communication in order to correspond with client requests. Serve as a resource regarding a dened set of policies and procedures.
Manage USPS and ID mail for University IT by organizing and distribute daily mail deliveries
Assist in coordinating logistics for workshops, lunch meetings, team retreats and large events e.g. catering orders, conference room reservations
May serve as the point of contact for general maintenance, health and safety, and other facility concerns within the unit(s); report any incidents or potential safety problems to appropriate representatives. Track completion of required training.
Maintain oce supplies and equipment; obtain vendor quotations, as needed. Coordinate oce moves.
Process and monitor routine nancial transactions with the Purchasing card, Travel card, and process expense reports and petty cash requests from clients, which may include researching and resolving discrepancies.
Support UIT administrative requests located at the Stanford Redwood City Campus and the main campus in Palo Alto, the SLAC campus as well as staff working in remote locations
Cross cover admins within the team when needed to ensure that over 600 staff members in UIT, receive the administrative support services needed to fully support the University's mission of teaching, learning, research, and healthcare

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
Demonstrated success in following through and completing routine tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Certifications and Licenses:
None
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently sitting.
Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.
