The Geffen Academy seeks a Communications Manager with demonstrated excellence in writing and editing and experience in a tuition-charging secondary education environment. This role will be responsible for producing clear, harmonious communications to represent the Academy's vision of inclusiveness and kindness to maintain trust with students, parents, faculty, staff, and other key stakeholders. An active participant in the Academy's daily life, the Communications Manager will proactively seek and produce content that informs and increases engagement among internal and external stakeholders via weekly newsletters, updates, event invitations, and other messaging that supports/aligns with the Academy's goals and priorities.

Well organized, diplomatic and tactful in responding to inquiries, the Communication Manager will exercise initiative and deliver results despite challenges while ensuring alignment with the institution's overall mission. As an integral team player in the success of the Academy, this individual will offer strategic insights into event planning, budgeting, allocation of resources, and establish processes and systems that support program deliverables and improve overall operational efficiency.
