Position Description:
Under the direction of the Student Accounts Supervisor, responsible for over 100 non-student billing and collection account, including receivable reconciliation, CRU maintenance, and managing new BAR account, UID interest, subcode and FAU set up. Review monthly non-student aging AR debt report ($1m receivables) and interface with account holders on past due accounts to collect payments owed. Perform metrics reporting on sponsorship aging data, and present to upper management timely and accurately.

Responsible for counseling customers (staff, students, and third party entities) via phone, email and in person, on billing and collection policies and procedures, FERPA and 1098t regulations. Utilize BAR and CASHNet systems, as well as interface with campus partners, to resolve system discrepancies.

Assist in configuring the tuition rate tables, coordinating system testing and tracking progress of service requests, working with campus partners on building billing subcodes, adjusting primary and write off accounts, and clearing out duplicate UID records. Service campus partners with system or policy discrepancies, and provide viable solutions.

Other duties include oversight of BruinBuy processes which includes appropriate maintenance of office supply inventory, paying invoices, and clearing encumbrances. Organizes meetings and arranges parking accommodations at the request of the Supervisor, Student Accounts.
