The School of Business and Leadership at Nazareth College of Rochester, New York – has an opening for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Leadership beginning in fall 2020.

The recently rebranded School of Business and Leadership (SBL) is an innovative and agile business school that is focused on our students’ learning and growth. Our purpose is to help prepare our students for their future careers and lives.

One of the goals of the School in the future is to help develop leadership for our undergraduate and graduate students, and as part of the strategic initiatives to change, we start two new graduate programs focusing on leadership in 2019: Leadership and Organizational Change (LOC), and Marketing Communication Leadership. We are planning to roll out another leadership focused graduate program-Global Business and Leadership – in Fall 2020. We also have a new undergraduate business honors Leadership Fellows program, and we are in the process of revising our Business Management major to become a Business Leadership major. Finally, we are also working on a brand new AI program that is integrated with business and leadership.

This is truly an exciting time for SBL. We are looking for a candidate who would like to be part of the changes and contribute significantly to the growth of the School and our students.

Candidates must have the ability to teach a variety of courses to support the requirements for the undergraduate Business Management major and the graduate leadership programs in the School of Business and Leadership. Experience in classroom, hybrid, and online education delivery is desired.

The successful candidate will also be expected to conduct research in the domain, and engage in relevant service on-campus with select committees and task forces and off-campus with the local business community. The successful candidate will have the opportunity in engage in SBL’s graduate programs, and also may have the opportunity to assume a leadership role for the LOC graduate program in the future.

An earned doctorate in leadership, organizational behavior, or a related field is required. A documented record of teaching effectiveness and demonstrated success in working with diverse student populations is desirable.
