This position is responsible for creating, designing, and delivering a wide variety of dynamic visual, graphic, video, public relations materials and social media content for the University of Georgia Gymnastics across all social media platforms. Oversight of all initiatives and designs on all UGA Gymnastics social media platforms including educational efforts and the development and implementation of a strategic social calendar.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Knowledge of graphic design, communications, marketing, or a closely-related field. Experience in professional sports or collegiate athletics creative, communications or marketing areas.
Highly proficient design skills, videography skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead creative teams. Advanced knowledge of and experience with creative software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects. Demonstrated knowledge of social media trends and analytics. Experience with web design, including HTML and CSS.
Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately and to communicate effectively with a diverse population. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsible for leading and executing creative/branding, digital, and social media strategy for UGA Gymnastics, including the following: managing all head coach social media activity, support assistant coach and student-athlete social media activity, guide the team in designing and executing creative content to drive and enhance fan engagement, brand awareness, communications and advertising strategy.Percentage of time30 Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities
Develops, implements and evaluates the strategic communications plan across the UGA Gymnastics audiences in collaboration with the Athletic Association. Decides who, where and when to disseminate. Puts communications vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities and works closely with the Athletic Association creative solutions and external teams to achieve goals.
