Position SummaryThis position provides various support functions to the Golf Operations and Event Manager in the daily management of the golf course and driving range operations. It also assists in the planning and management of tournaments and events (before, during, and after the event). A person appointed to this position would assist with golf instruction as directed by their supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesKnowledge of Golf Course operations, event planning, marketing and inventory management experience. Knowledge of personnel administration and business management. Knowledge of record keeping and inventory systems. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, students and fellow employees.
Supervise the work of others.
Retail experience.
This position will sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, push and pull.
Work outside in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
Lifting of heavy water coolers.

Duties/Responsibilities Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssists in the management of the golf course and driving range operations:
daily cashier operations, tee line management, golf ball collection, Driving Range promotion, creation and improvement of customer service protocols, and staff management.
Assist in organization and execution of events: assist in the preparation, production, and breakdown for all events; assist with coordination of golf course leagues and associations; assist in creating and managing event timelines and work schedules; maintains accurate and up-to-date records and files for all events; assist with marketing for events; conduct site tours and visits with potential clients; manage event spaces and maintains a high level of cleanliness at all times.

Junior clinics, camps, and leagues; University related clinics and workshops; limited individual lessons on an as-needed basis.
Assist in management of cart fleet.
