Job Description Summary

We are looking for a research specialist to work in a fast-paced cancer immunotherapy and glycoimmunology space. This research specialist will work independently and focus on one main project; however, he/she will also interact with and assist other research specialists and postdoctoral fellows in the lab with a variety of tasks. This position is contingent on funding.

Job Description

The position will have as a key responsibility biochemical analysis of samples from human (Blood, etc.) as well as human cell lines and tumor samples for glycoimmunological studies. This may include coordinating operations between the research lab and various clinical groups and transferring samples to the lab. Other aspects of this position include maintenance and expansion of human T cells, differentiation and skewing of T cells, and flow cytometric analysis of T cells. Occasional ordering of reagents and supplies may be required. Familiarity with FPLC and HPLC approaches will be an advantage.


Bachelor's Degree and 1 to 3 years experience or equivalent combination of years and experience required.
