Reporting to the Director of Admission-Graduate, the Assistant Director of provides comprehensive support to all phases of recruitment and enrollment of prospective students wishing to enter a graduate program at the La Verne Campus. Position has primary responsibility for recruiting prospective graduate students through strategic enrollment efforts, direct counseling, communication and enrollment process support, and external/related/affinity group outreach.Specific Duties
  • Assist in development of strategies for recruiting new students, including conducting research on admission trends and best practices, and consolidating information into suggestions for new ideas for marketing, programs or other relevant activities.
  • Develop and monitor statistical reports to enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting, and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate, manage, and participate in on- and off-campus Admission Office programs throughout the year including conducting information sessions for prospective students and their families.
  • Utilizing the CRM system, work closely with prospective students and applicants through the admissions process via telephone, email, and personal contact throughout the course of the admission cycle
  • Work with graduate chairs to coordinate and monitor the workflow for timely and accurate processing of admission applications through matriculation.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow graduate recruiters to support the needs of the unit and meet and exceed enrollment goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of knowledge and experience in admission and recruitment.
  • Must be able to work within required deadlines, travel to recruitment events, work after hours and on weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Technolutions Slate CRM
  • Knowledge and experience in graduate admission and recruitment.
