The Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position as a Course Instructor/Clinical supervisor in the Department of Audiology.
Responsibilities include:
•Provide instruction for a total of 3-20 hours per week (depending on your course /contract).
•Clinical courses will require supervising two student clinicians per hour. Occasionally a clinical instructor may be assigned three student clinicians per hour
•Provide each student clinician with a minimum of 25% direct supervision. However, our expectation is for greater direct supervision as needed to meet the needs of the particular student clinician and/or client
•Complete semester supervision log to document supervision time for accreditation requirements. Must submit written log to the clinic director and/or office manager on the last day of the semester
•Provide written feedback towards clinical reports and observational assignments

Basic Qualifications

•AuD or Ph.D. degree with relevant background to course being taught
•A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a professional environment working with clinical populations

Additional Qualifications

•Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities
•Annual HIPAA training
•Annual sexual harassment prevention training
•FERPA training
•Criminal background check
•Livescan fingerprinting as required

Physical Requirements

•Requires extended periods of sitting and standing, bending and stooping, and occasional walking.
•Work is primarily performed in a standard clinic environment.
