St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.Our Child Development Center is continuously seeking individuals to serve as an integral part of the professional teaching team in mixed-age early childhood classrooms on an as needed basis. This position involves collaborating with other teachers and parents to promote children's learning in all developmental domains. Duties include engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities, supervising a group of children, and daily parent conversation. Knows and follows Missouri childcare licensing and sanitation regulations; additional training provided. Extensive curriculum training provided.

Qualifications: One college class in an early childhood related field or equivalent required. Preference given to candidates with an AA or higher in an early childhood related field. Must meet DHSS qualifications. Must be at least eighteen years of age.
