The University of Miami, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is engaged in wide ranging expansion and development of clinical and research efforts in cancer. Miami offers an engaging city, and outstanding recreational activities and climate.

The faculty candidate for this position will care for inpatients and outpatients with sarcoma malignancies in the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and affiliated hospitals. The candidate will help lead clinical and research efforts in the Sarcoma Disease Group, and provide leadership for multidisciplinary clinical and research efforts in Sarcoma Malignancies.

The individual for this position should have national recognition and experience in the development of clinical trials, including investigator initialed trials, and in the emerging area of personalized medicine.

The individual will serve as an attending clinician in the Division of Medical Oncology, with a focus on the care and treatment of patients with Sarcoma malignancies. This includes outpatient, as well as inpatient care of patients, plus the duties related to the attending rounding responsibilities for the division (including inpatient units at UMHC, UMH and/or JMH).
