    General: The Department of Management in the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno invites applicants for a full-time, open-rank, tenure-track position in Management. We are looking for someone who has primary teaching and research interests in either of the following areas: Strategic management, operations management, and/or supply-chain/value-chain management.

    The successful candidate will be prepared to be an inspirational teacher in both the undergraduate and MBA programs; will conduct scholarly and applied research, engage in service-related activities; and perform outcomes assessment. Department faculty are committed to student success and continue to develop new course curriculum, including service-learning courses, and web-enhanced or web-based instruction. There may be opportunities to teach in the Executive MBA and/or Accelerated Bachelor's in Business Administration programs. Our campus culture requires an environment that cooperatively works with faculty, staff, and students in the department, college, and university. Specific assignments are dependent on departmental needs and the background of the individual.

    Qualifications:

    Required Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent):

    An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Management or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution (or equivalent) is required. Applicants nearing the completion of a doctoral degree (ABD status) will be considered.

    Required Experience:

Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds;Evidence of scholarly and research activity (e.g., conference presentations, book chapters, publications);Teaching experience at the undergraduate level.Preferred Experience:

Demonstrated success in teaching excellence as an instructor of record;Evidence of publications in scholarly journals.

The Craig School of Business (CSB) empowers future business leaders by helping students embark on successful careers in business and economics. With approximately 3,000 majors, we offer bachelor's degrees in Business Administration (with 12 different options) and Economics, and both a traditional and executive MBA. The Craig School of Business is the first CSU business school to receive a naming endowment, a ten million dollar pledge from Sid and Jenny Craig, and also the first in the CSU to be accredited by AACSB, International - this in 1959.
