Job Description:


The School of Management (SOM) at Binghamton University (State University of New York) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Marketing and Business Analytics, starting in fall 2020, subject to budget approval.


Candidates should have research interests in the quantitative/modeling/analytics area and demonstrate high quality research, as evidenced by publication, or potential to publish, in the top marketing journals.


SOM supports research with a two course/semester teaching assignment. The candidate is expected to teach and expand on the electives currently offered at the School. Faculty also participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the college both internally and externally.

Requirements:


Candidates must have (or expect) a PhD degree by the time of appointment (mid-August 2020). Candidates with one or two years of experience will also be considered but we are not seeking to fill an associate/full position.
