Job Description

Under direction, the Coordinator of Assessment & Accreditation provides support to the College of Business, under the primary leadership of the Associate Dean, for assessment activities in the School. Additionally, the Coordinator provides support to the College pertaining to all accreditation-related efforts. The coordinator supports the production and dissemination of assessment plans and summary documents used for planning and accreditation activities, editing documents as necessary for accuracy, consistency, and to ensure a unified voice.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates evaluations, compiles information, provides assessments, and generates reports as required.
  • Provides interpretive materials and develops metrics and calculations to document academic and professional statuses.
  • Coordinates documentation related to development activities and improvement expectations.
  • Works on program quality and improvements.
  • Participates in institutional service roles, such as committees, club sponsorships, and advisory committees
  • Maintains a centralized repository for college assessment and accreditation materials.
  • Monitors compliance with accreditation standards and documents/maintains standards and statuses.
  • Coordinates evaluations, compiles information, provides assessments, and generates reports as required.

  • Works on program quality and improvements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, English or Journalism and five years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and five years of related experience.
  • Experience in the field of data entry, data analysis or similar area
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze & produce accurate and reliable reports, spreadsheets, databases, and word-processed documents using appropriate software (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, SEDONA, and Excel).
  • Experience writing accreditation reports, technical reports, instruction manuals, or grants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
