Job Description

The College of Business is seeking applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track adjunct faculty positions for Fall 2019. The appointment is for adjunct faculty in Business Law. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Business Law. Quality performance will be expected in teaching and service. The candidate must have 18 graduate hours in every field in which they will teach. Preference will be given to applicants who have evidence of effective teaching of business law courses at the university level.   Additionally, preference will be given to applicants with experience with distance education (hybrid), and with working with non-traditional or culturally diverse populations. This position requires in person teaching at our campus.

Necessary Qualifications:     

  • Earned graduate degree in Law or related area, from a regionally accredited institution by August 2019 
  • 18 graduate hours in every field in which candidate will teach.   

Preferred Qualifications:

JD  or LLM Preferred

  • Prior teaching experience in higher education in a College of Business setting
  • Experience with distance education, hybrid, and online classes preferred. 
  • Familiarity with non-traditional commuter university setting preferred. 
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations preferred.
