Position Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time Nuclear Medicine Faculty member, interested in pursuing an academic career in Molecular Imaging at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS Track.

Principal Duties:

Clinical duties will be assigned in the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Section and will include covering the clinical nuclear medicine and PET services, bone mineral density exams and the nuclear cardiology studies. This position will play a central part in the teaching program for the radiology residents and nuclear medicine residents and will also participate in medical student teaching. Clinical or basic research is required. University and community service are also expected as appropriate.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD Degree, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and/or Nuclear Medicine. Fellowship training preferred. Research experience in the application of Nuclear Medicine/PET to Molecular Imaging is preferred.

Appointment at rank other than Assistant Professor will require that candidate meets criteria for the CHS rank at UW-Madison. Additionally, UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines apply for appointment at full or associate professor rank.

A criminal and/or caregiver background check will be conducted.
