Works with clients on application objectives, requirements and specifications.

Researches, keeps current and shares findings on new and emerging best practices, technologies and software.

Assists with QA activities on developed code.

Assists with IT and Information Security activities.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, MIS or related field and two years of experience.

Demonstrated proficiency and experience in at least one web development language.

Ability to write documentation and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Highly developed problem solving skills.Preferred Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript Libraries (JQuery or equivalent).

Experience with ColdFusion, Java or Ne.

Experience with HTML5, modern CSS and Responsive Web Design.

Experience with Mobile Application Development.

Experience programming in a W/LAMP (Windows/Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) environment or equivalent.

Familiarity with XML and XML-related tools (XPath, XQuery, XSL, etc.).

Practice working with versioning systems (Git, SVN or equivalent).Anticipated Salary Range $50,000.00 to $80,000.00, commensurate with experience.Pay Plan This is a Faculty position.Soft Money Funded Position This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.Schedule If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
